While filing and buffing can help to smooth out ridges and imperfections on your nails, it's important to do so gently, especially during the winter months. Filing it too much can weaken your nails, making them more prone to breakage. Opt for a fine-grit file and use light strokes.

Oh, and those pesky hangnails? Trim them away for a smoother application process. Remember, the key here is dryness - even a hint of moisture can mess with how well those wraps stick, so take your time to ensure your nails are bone dry. This prep work might seem small, but it keeps your nail wraps looking on point all winter!
Okay, here's the deal with applying nail wraps in the winter – temperature is key! Make sure your space isn't too chilly because cold temps can stiffen up those wraps, making them a pain to put on.
