Nail Wrap Newbie: First Time Thoughts
Disclaimer: This is my first application of a nail wrap (of any brand), and I'm not someone who has a lot of experience with doing their nails.
I wanted special nails for Christmas, and this wrap fit the bill! It's pretty and Christmassy without being too over-the-top.
I wish I had seen that the third smallest nail (I would have intended it for my pinky) was different on each side of the strip! On the top of the strip, it has gold dots like another nail pattern. On the bottom side of the strip, it is blank. This is so odd to me and disappointed me when I realized it didn't match, so I didn't end up using the one I wanted because I prefer my hands to match.
I did have to look up a YouTube video to learn how to apply these as the Lily and Fox how-to didn't provide enough detail for someone as green as I am (for instance, the guide says to "choose the right size" and then gives zero indication how to do so). The YouTube video I found was very helpful, and I am happy with the experience! I look forward to trying my other wraps.
I just hope the next set won't take me 2 hours to do 😅 I'm sure I will get quicker as I gain more experience!
